BOMBERS BACK ON THE WINNERS LIST
The Bombers finally got back on the winners list this week, with a 10 point win over Richmond in the final inter-club practice match of the 2001 pre-season. After the match in Lavington was cancelled on Friday night, the teams headed to Sandringham in wet and windy conditions Saturday morning. A much improved Essendon controlled most of the match to give the team its first win of 2001.
