Port Melbourne too strong for Bendigo
Port Melbourne has defeated Bendigo by 28 points this afternoon at Queen Elizabeth Oval. Bendigo led by 2 points at three quarter time but a dominant display in the final term saw Port Melbourne win their 24<SUP>th</SUP> consecutive game.

Despite an impressive effort from Bendigo they ran out of legs in the final term going down 19.10.124 to 14.12.96.
Tom Bellchambers was once again impressive in the ruck for Bendigo while Essendon rookie Cory Dell’Olio booted three goals.
Bendigo now turn their attention to the Casey Scorpions next Sunday at Casey Fields.

Essendon players made a visit to the Royal Children’s Hospital yesterday afternoon ahead of the annual Good Friday Appeal. Travis Colyer, Alex Browne and Michael Ross took time out to visit a number of sick children from across the state at the Royal Children’s Hospital, handing out teddy bears, posters and footballs.
