Essendon Football Club is calling on its army of fans Australia-wide to ‘Journey to the G’ for its clash with St Kilda at the brilliant new MCG on Saturday 15 July 2006.

And if you make the trip to Melbourne to watch the game, why not make a weekend of it!

The Essendon Football club will be coordinating various activities for fans to get involved, including a fantastic cocktail party after the match with Essendon players in attendance.

All regional and interstate Essendon supporters are invited to meet and have a drink or snack in the Harrison room (Olympic Stand, Level 2, near section N31) before and during the round 15 match. A range of beverages and light snacks will available for purchase.

Hall of Fame – James Hird Exhibition
To coincide with James Hird's testimonial year, the Hall of Fame has mounted an exhibition as a tribute to James Hird’s outstanding career. Using objects and images from his own collection as well as his family and his junior club Ainslie, in the ACT, the Hall of Fame has assembled a collection never before assembled in the one place.

The Hall of Fame will be open from 11am on Saturday 15th July. Regional and interstate supporters are invited to visit the Hall of Fame prior to the match. Admission costs for members: $4 Adults and $1 children.
