Essendon’s Robert Rose Foundation Victorian Wheelchair Football League (VWFL) side is gearing up to play in an action-packed 2020 Round Robin Carnival.

An initiative of AFL Victoria, the 2020 Round Robin Carnival will feature several weekends of competitions for both the VWFL and VBFL (Victorian Blind Football League). 

The carnivals will commence on Saturday, November 28 for VBFL and Sunday, November 29 for VWFL.

The Bombers will play Richmond, St Kilda, Collingwood and Hawthorn twice, with the games scheduled to be played at the Melbourne Sports & Aquatic Centre – Show Courts.

The carnival will take the place of the traditional VWFL season after a coronavirus-impacted year and will unfortunately not be open to spectators due to restrictions.
