Essendon will be looking to bounce back from their loss to Melbourne last week when they take on Sydney at Etihad Stadium on Saturday night.
 
The Bombers lost just their second game of the season last week against the Demons and will be looking to rebound strongly against a Sydney side which thrashed the Western Bulldogs by 92 points.
 
Last time these two teams met was round 20, 2011 with Essendon winning by one point 15.10.100 to 14.15.99 at Etihad Stadium.

The Flight Plan telethon
In conjunction with broadcaster Channel 7 and Etihad Stadium, the club will hold a special telethon during the match to rally supporters to get behind the Flight Plan. Manning the phones will be past players, premiership captains, current day players and a number of the club’s high profile supporters.

All donors that have pledged their supportto the Flight Plan up until the final siren against the Swans will go into the draw to win the ultimate Essendon inner sanctum experience. The prize is a trip for two to Essendon’s Round 19 match against the Crows in Adelaide including flights, accommodation, premium-reserved seats at the game and exclusive access into the players’ change rooms post match.

Supporters can donate to the Flight Plan in three ways:

Faker Live at the Footy
Get to the footy early this Saturday night to see Faker perform before the game and again at half time. On selected Saturday nights in Melbourne across the season at either the MCG or Etihad Stadium, Live at the Footy will feature an established or emerging Australian artist, performing pre-game and half time.
