It is tight at the top of the leaderboard of the James Hird Give us the Tip competition. Bomber supporters Andrew Pellizzer and Aaron Stevens share poll position with 77 points. Jimi Leers closely follows on 76 points and in equal third position are Robert Hietbrink, Jodie Smit and Christopher Davies. With only eight home and away rounds to go the competition is hotting up and with great prizes on the line including interstate travel with the team next season, tipsters will be hoping their predictions prove correct.

At this stage of the season Engi Amalie is on track to become the 'Wizard of Windy Hill'. Although Engi needs to keep scoring well because he has tough competition from second placed ""HotCurries"" who is only trailing by 100 points. 'Zedders', 'The Dambusters' and 'Bobby Walls is a football expert' are also within striking range and have a good chance of claiming first prize. An opportunity to have your picture taken with the entire team in the official 2004 team photo is up for grabs plus other great prizes including lunch with Bomber assistant coaches Robert Shaw and Mark Harvey.

Jason Johnson continues to lead the TAG Heuer Player of the Week competition. Although Johnson is under pressure from Matthew Lloyd who is just one point behind with a score of 29. The Bombers skipper James Hird currently holds down third position, which is a good effort considering he was sidelined for five matches with injury. 2002 best and fairest Mark Johnson has also polled well and is in fourth position.
