Essendon supporters are invited to support the Royal Women’s Hospital Mothers’ Day Appeal. The appeal, a key component of the hospital’s annual fundraising program, raises money to fund research and to purchase vitally important equipment.

An important aspect of the appeal is Little Ray of Sunshine. This luncheon will raise funds for the neo-natal and intensive care unit of the hospital and provide an opportunity to share some incredible stories of the women who have experienced the hospital’s generosity.

The Luncheon, hosted by Variety and supported by the Essendon and Carlton Football Clubs on Thursday 11th May, is an occasion to increase awareness of the innovative and world-class care provided at The Women’s and raises money for the purchase of humidicribs.

Hosted by Jo Silvagni and Matt Tilly, the lunch will feature interviews with Club Captains (Matthew Lloyd and Anthony Koutoufides) and their mums, a head to head between Denis Pagan and Kevin Sheedy and sought-after auction of items.

Further support The Royal Woman's Hospital and enjoy a great day out, with Mum's Day in the Sun. See Carlton play Essendon in a traditional MCG blockbuster on Sunday 14 May
