Essendon’s Victorian Wheelchair Football League side has begun its quest to go one better in 2021 and claim a maiden Robert Rose Cup premiership.

Runners-up to St Kilda in 2020, the wheelchair Bombers have finalised their team list for the 10-game season.

The wheelchair Dons’ first-round match against Collingwood unfortunately resulted in defeat, succumbing to the Pies by 15 points.

The Bombers will look to respond in round two’s grand final rematch against the Saints at Boroondara Sports Centre.
