Only 5.13% said the team will finish in ninth to 12th position and only a small percent (0.93) voted that the Bomber’s will finish in the bottom four spots on the ladder. Time will tell how the Bombers fare this season. As was witnessed in 2002 with all the long-term injuries, anything can happen through the season, but if preseason training is an indication the team will definitely be giving 100% to be a dominant force during the year.
What the Bomber fans had to say:
Tim Bristow from Flowerdale says: We will finish in the top four in 2003 because we may have lost Caracella, Blumfield, Heffernan and Moorcroft but we are still a force in the AFL.
Janelle Mc Arthur from Gisborne says: well you can not expect to win every year but it would be nice but I love the Bombers I will never give up on them even if they were on the bottom of the ladder.
Pete from Melbourne says: I’d just like to say that I think Essendon will definitely finish in the top eight as there is no pressure on us this year, everyone is writing us off. No one thinks we are good and that is wrong as we have got some good youngsters.
