A highlights collection of Myers, who was taken with pick 6, playing for Perth Football Club and Western Australia's all-conquering under/18 team show the reason Essendon was so keen to bring him to Windy Hill.
Â
Myers is wearing number 15 for Perth colts in the opening footage, then number 48 in the seniors and finally number 15 again for WA.
Â
Myers -Â who will watch training at Windy Hill tomorrow with fellow recruits Tayte Pears and Cale Hooker -Â is 191cm, 86kg and is expected to develop into a quality midfielder.
The baby of the Bombers list, new recruit, Tayte Pears, was just six months old when Essendon played in the 1990 grand final. Now 17-years old, Pears - who was born on the 24th March, 1990 - was drafted by Essendon with pick 23 at Saturday's draft.
