Essendon has named their side to open a fourth AFLW campaign in round one.

Draftees Grace Belloni, Holly Ridewood and Taya Chambers, as well as recruits Maggie MacLachlan and Courtney Murphy will all line up for their first matches in Essendon colours.

A slew of familiar faces also headline the Dons' outfit to open 2025, including Co-Captains Bonnie Toogood and Steph Cain, star midfielder Maddy Prespakis and noted goalkicker Daria Bannister.

The Bombers take on Murphy's former side GWS at Corroboree Group Oval Manuka in Canberra from 5:35pm AEST on Saturday.

Saturday's contest will be streamed live on FOX and Kayo.
