STAND FOR NEALE 

As his playing number was #6, all attendees are encouraged to honour the late great Neale Daniher with a standing ovation at the six-minute mark of the first quarter. 

Be in your seats by 12:45pm for the on-field tribute to Neale Daniher. At 1pm, join the stadium-wide singalong of Mr Brightside in Neale’s honour.  

Tickets for Melbourne v Essendonare available via Ticketek and on gameday outside Gates 1 and 3. 

Essendon members have two ways to access the game on Saturday. 

Members' physical membership cards have a barcode that will allow members to scan in at the turnstiles, however if members are yet to receive their card, or prefer the convenience of using a mobile device, they can log in to the official Essendon app using their membership details to access the mobile membership.

Any Essendon members who wish to reserve a seat can upgrade using this link. Simply select ‘Club Members and Public Reserve’ from the drop-down menu and enter your 12-digit barcode to unlock discounted reserved seating options.

Guernsey Auction

Both teams will be wearing bespoke guernseys created especially for the occasion to honour Neale. The guernseys will be auctioned after the match, with all proceeds going to FightMND. 

There will only be limited accessibility parking options at the ‘G on Saturday, so we recommend looking at alternative transportation methods. The stadium is only a short walk from both Jolimont and Richmond Stations.

Potential Disruptions  

Train Disruptions: 

Buses replace trains on the Sunbury Line between Footscray and North Melbourne from Friday 12 June to last train Sunday 14 June. 

Buses replace trains on the Cranbourne and Pakenham lines from 8:30pm to last train each night from Friday 12 June to Sunday 14 June. 

Road disruptions: 

No right turn from Clyde Road, Berwick onto Princes Freeway citybound entry ramp until late 2026.
