One of Essendon’s most popular and promising players, Bachar Houli, is the special guest this week on Weekend Rewind.

Houli, 19, joins list manager, Adrian Dodoro, to discuss the hard fought loss to Adelaide with both men agreeing Adam McPhee was back to his best in the game.

“He stood his ground and took those marks that Adam McPhee used to take,” Houli said.

""He is super fit and is probably in the top five for fitness at the club.""

After playing 13-games, Houli says he is determined to cement a spot in the Bomber midfield but has enjoyed playing down back for the first time in his career.

“My confidence has risen so much since I have been thrown into the midfield and told to run,” he said.

The former Western Jets star was one of at least six young players that Dodoro said really stood up against the Crows.
