Orazio Fantasia will lead the charge for the Bombers when he plunges into icy waters for the sixth annual Big Freeze in support of Neale Daniher's FightMND fundraiser.

Normally taking place before the annual Queen's Birthday clash between Collingwood and Melbourne at the MCG, the iconic event will be broadcast on Channel Seven on the Queen's Birthday holiday on Monday, June 8 – three days before the 2020 season restarts.

All 18 teams will have one player performing his own ice challenge from his respective club, with the event raising much-needed funds and awareness to fight Motor Neurone Disease.

While the event will look different, it will be the first time in Big Freeze history where current players take part.

The famous FightMND beanies have also returned and can be purchased for $20 online and at Coles and Bunnings Warehouse stores nationwide, with all proceeds helping to fight 'The Beast' that is MND.

FightMND is encouraging supporters to get involved by taking a selfie in their beanie and posting it to social media using the hashtag #FillTheG.

If you're really game, you can hold your own backyard Big Freeze and share your video using the hashtag #BackyardBigFreeze.
