Scans have today confirmed Essendon small forward Orazio Fantasia has sustained a low-grade quad strain. 

General manager of football Dan Richardson said the 24-year-old experienced soreness following the Bombers’ training session on Saturday. 

“Scans have confirmed Orazio has sustained a low-grade strain, which will rule him out for next week’s game against Sydney,” Richardson said. 

“We are optimistic he will only miss 1-2 matches.”
