Essendon will continue contract negotiations with Adam McPhee and expects a decision in the near future.
The 27-year-old remains on the Essendon list following today's 2pm deadline for the second list lodgement.
General manager of football operations Paul Hamiltion said that McPhee can now either sign with the Bombers or nominate for the up-coming pre-season draft.
""Adam is a listed Essendon player and we will continue negotiations about a new contract,"" Hamilton said.
