Essendon midfielder Jake Melksham has described Saturday's heart stopping draw against Carlton as one of the toughest games of football he has ever played.
Melksham, 19, said the players were bitterly dissapointed with the result after working so hard throughout the match.

""It was a really tough game and we hung in there."" Melksham told BomberTV.
""It was a 50/50 contest all day and the boys fought really hard - we did our best and we were really dissapointed that we couldnt have a win,"" Melksham said.
