Speaking on Bomber tv, O’Donnell said Essendon faces a significant task against a Swans outfit that has started notching up some solid wins including a ""clinical"" display against the Western Bulldogs.
O’Donnell said the team would have confidence following the last minute win against Richmond adding that the Matthew Richardson incident had overshadowed what was a dramatic Bomber fightback.
""It’s probably taken away from the fact we came from behind but, under the interpretation of the rules, it was probably the easiest in the back decision you could have made for an umpire,"" he said.
""To kick four goals two behinds in the last six minutes without Richmond scoring and to come back and win was one of the better wins I’ve been involved with since I’ve been back at Essendon.""
