In his latest Off The Long Run column, Essendon assistant coach Robert Shaw takes a look at the draft and the fact so many people are claiming it is light on for talent. Shaw says there is plenty of talent in every draft it is just that it can often be well concealed. He has selected a team of players taken relatively late in the draft since 1993. It is a pretty fair side and it just goes to show how important every draft selection is.
