Essendon has sprung a surprise at the selection table, naming out-of-favour forward Damian Cupido in a squad of 25 for this Sunday's crunch game with Fremantle at The Dome. David Hille, Tristan Cartledge, Angus Monfries and Mark Alvey have also been named in the squad while Paul Thomas and Marc Bullen have been omitted.
