At the final Dick Reynolds Club luncheon in 2002, all living players from the 1942, 1946, 1949 and 1950 premiership sides were inducted into the Premiership Club. The Premiership Club recognises the achievements of VFL and AFL premiership players from all 16 clubs. Essendon had 22 past premiership players attend the lunch but the club is still searching for nine players it has been unable to track down who played in Premiership sides between 1942 and 1950. Can you help us?

The club is hopeful of finding the players themselves or close relatives of those that have passed away. The commemorative Premiership Medal will duly be forward to them or their family.

The club is also looking for relatives of John Ward who played one game in 1948. If you are one of these players, a close relative or have some information that may be helpful, can you please contact Barbara Cullen in the EFC Hall of Fame - (03) 9230 0351.
