A five-goal haul from Essendon-listed rookie Josh Jenkins saw the Bombers claim victory over Geelong in a hard-fought battle. Essendon players Luke Davis and Tyson Slattery were also named among the best on ground.
Bendigo recruits Tory Dickson and Ben Duscher also excelled in the match, with Dickson booting four majors.
The Bendigo Bombers will face the Werribee Tigers on Saturday 6 August, as the two teams prepare to go head-to-head for a finals placing.
