Speaking at today's recovery session Hamilton said Lloyd is sore but able to walk.
""He is going to miss one game, possibility two and maybe more - it is very much an individual thing when it comes to bruised heels,"" he said.
""He hurt himself late in the second quarter so first half he was fine and in the second half he was battling.
""When you have a bruised heel you think you are right and all you have to do is get one more knock or land funny and it just nags you for some time. We are hoping for the best but history tells us he is going miss at least one.""
Hamilton said that young key position hopefuls Jay Neagle and Darcy Daniher would now strongly come into contention to play in the forward line.
""Jay played in the VFL on the weekend and has played the last few in the VFL as has Daniher who has been playing up forward as well. We have a couple of young guys that we are keen to have a look at and, with Lloyd going out, there is going to be an opportunity there.
""We are reasonably healthy as a list at the moment apart from the big injuries (Hille, Laycock, and Gumbleton) and have a good list to select from.""

Hamilton said McVeigh (cork), Watson (cork), Lovett (knee) and Davey (soreness) should all be fine to play this Sunday against West Coast in Perth but a final decision would be made later this week.
""We have got a lot of sore players but that is not unusual the day after a game,"" he said.
""Those players all just knocks and bruises and corks and, at this stage, we are not expecting anyone else to miss next week at the moment.""
