Essendon pair Sam Lonergan and Kyle Reimershave used twitter to thank fans for their support during their career at the Bombers.
The Club today announced the duo would notbe offered contracts to play on next season with the first list lodgment due onWednesday at 2pm.
Lonergan praised the culture of Essendonand thanked the supporters for their ongoing support.
“Thank you for a great journey Essendon,”Lonergan tweeted.
“Thank you to all who have stood beside mewith support, great clubs attract great supporters, members and people.
“It’s my time to leave gracefully knowing Igave Essendon everything I had on and off the field.”
Reimers also paid tribute to the fans forsticking by him during his career.
“Thanks to Essendon and all their loyalfans for the support over the past 6 years. It will not be forgotten#greattimes,” tweeted Reimers.
