The last time Essendon and West Coast played was a very memorable occasion for the red and black. Essendon was desperate to win after two first round defeats and it was James Hird who snapped the winning goal in the dying seconds of the game to record the Bombers first victory of season 2004.
Dustin Fletcher and Mark Bolton have added height and experience to the Bombers backline this week. The pair returns to the side after one week on the sidelines. Brent Stanton is the third inclusion in the team that will take on West Coast tomorrow night at Subiaco.
