Celebrate the journey of Indigenous women at the annual Long Walk Women’s luncheon at Peninsula at Central Pier.

Headlined by Liz Cavanagh, Kylie Belling and Tammy Hunter, the luncheon is guaranteed to entertain.

The Long Walk Women’s lunch aims to offer an insight into the lives of Indigenous women and the issues they face by presenting the stories of two women – one from the grass roots, the other a high achiever with great potential.

The lunch also aims to actively facilitate interaction between Indigenous and non-Indigenous women.

In 2007, 600 people attended The Long Walk Women’s Lunch which profiled the life stories of three generations of Indigenous women and offered insight into the lives and concerns of Indigenous communities.
