Ramanauskas runs riot for Bendigo
Led by Essendon Premiership player Adam Ramanauskas, the Bendigo Bombers triumphed over the Box Hill Hawks yesterday to record a massive 62-point victory at Queen Elizabeth Oval. After a slow start to the match in which the Bombers battled with accuracy in front of goal, Bendigo launched a thrilling second half of football, dominating play and making it difficult for their Box Hill counterparts to add to their side of the scoreboard. As the Hawks struggled to match an inspired Bomber unit, Bendigo fired through Kepler Bradley and Kyle Reimers who each contributed four goals for the match and played an major part in the 10-goal victory.

Adam Ramanauskas was sensational for the entirety of the match, finishing the match with a 32-possession haul while proving that it will only be a matter of time before he makes his return to senior footy. While Danny Chartres and Heath Hocking also impressed fans with strong individual performances.
Essendon expects both Brent Stanton and Dustin Fletcher to play against Port Adelaide next Sunday - the last game before the Bombers take a well-earned mid-season break. Stanton (ankle) and Fletcher (groin) were cause for some concern following Essendon's heart-stopping win over West Coast but both had improved significantly by today and look certain starters against Port.
