A number of players will not take part this Saturday. Dean Solomon (knee), Jason Laycock (ankle), Richard Cole (knee), Adam Ramanauskas (knee) and Jason Johnson (foot) are all completing rehabilitation programs after undergoing surgery. Jay Neagle (thigh), Matthew Firman (thigh), Jay Nash (arm) and Lachlan McKinnon (shin) are also likely to be sidelined.
Tickets are now on sale for Essendon's upcoming matches. Tickets for the Bombers clash with Sydney at North Sydney Oval are available from Ticketek. Tickets for Essendon's match with Brisbane at Carrara can be purchased from Ticketmaster.
The Essendon players looked to be in good form on the weekend and freelance photographer Michael Willson was there to capture some of the images. He captured some great shots of former captain James Hird, new recruit Scott Camporeale and a very different looking Jobe Watson.
