In addition to Ramanauskas, the other casualties are Jason Winderlich, Kepler Bradley, Marc Bullen and Mark Mercuri. All five players have been omitted.
Essendon ruckman Tristan Cartledge’s season has come to an end. Cartledge strained his posterior cruciate ligament in the VFL match against Werribee last Saturday. Football operations manager Dominic Cato said that it is a five to six week injury and doesn’t expect Cartledge to play again this season.
The Richmond and Essendon football clubs will write a new chapter in the history of the Dreamtime game, joining with Tourism Western Australia and the AFL to establish Dreamtime at Maali as part of a new two-year partnership.
