The NEC Hangar will host the VFLW Bombers’ inaugural Anzac Day game on Sunday, with the round eight match moved from Collingwood's Holden Centre.

Essendon and Collingwood, who sit third and second on the VFLW ladder respectively, will look to add their own piece of history to the traditional Anzac Day rivalry when they battle it out from 11am.

The Bombers will be striving for their sixth win of the season when they face the Magpies, in what will be the last game at the NEC Hangar for the home and away season, with all remaining home games played at Windy Hill.

Fans are encouraged to attend the VFLW match at the NEC Hangar, which will be completed by approximately 1pm, before watching the AFL Bombers take on Collingwood at the MCG at 3:20pm.

Due to the unavailability of the Holden Centre, Sunday’s match at the NEC Hangar will be a home game for the Magpies.
