Katie Lio - Co-Chair
Katie Lio joins the Essendon Womens Network committee as a lifelong Bomber. She is motivated by her want to grow and expand the reach of the EWN, providing value and connection to Bombers from all walks of life. You may recognise Katie from her roles at Essendon, where she has previously served as a Non-Executive Director and VFLW President, including the VFLW's premiership year in 2022 (had to throw this one in)!
Katie is an accomplished professional with a strong background in operations, strategy, and leadership. Currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at Zip Digital, she brings extensive experience in managing people and processes. Her current remit includes managing a growing team of Australian and global digital marketing specialists. Katie's career also includes significant contributions to social impact-focused businesses, such as her role as Chief Operating Officer at WORK180, where she provided strategic direction and operational oversight, as well as extensive time working within the Sports and Entertainment industry with Telstra Media.
