A good young player with a lot to look forward to. Performed on the big stage on Anzac Day but was unable to re-capture that form in other games. In racing terms he will be better for the run and 2010 should be the year he cements a senior spot in the team (Garry Munn)
A solid first year for Zaka. Showed us what we have to look forward to in the next few years and who could forget Anzac Day! (Nicholas Loschiavo)
Very impressive debut season for the Z-factor! Showed composure in tough times, who can forget that Anzac Day goal. A young fella that's not afraid to put his body on the line for the good of the team (Ricke Dovey)
He didn't participate much after the mid way point through the year, but I am going to say, he did his job and has shown us he can play. David will forever be known as the last quarter specialist, with his heroic antics on the ANZAC Day clash, which will never die in any Essendon fans heart. (Joseph Attard)
About as good of a season as one could expect from a first year player. Certainly looks like a player who could be anything - he has the skills and ""football brain"". Looking forward to future seasons. (Derek Jarman)
For a first year player David was very impressive. Thought he might have got a few more games towards the end of the season. Liked his attack on the ball, is quick and has a good football brain. Looking forward to his rapid development and to play throughout 2010 season (Robert Murray)
Started fantastic in his debut season and tired. Lets hope another pre-season will mean a bigger stronger and better body who can take the next step (Peter Ridgway)
Very inconsistant, a lot of people see Zaharakis and focus on that kick on Anzac day. But looking at his season he's in and out of the team. He is very young and is a bright spark for the future at Windy Hill. Just needs more games. (Brad Clark)
