Former Essendon forward Paul Vander Haar jokes that he is still recovering from the bump that he copped from Hawthorn star Dermott Brereton at VFL Park in the 1989 second semi-final. Vander Haar had been dominating the game before 'Dermie' cleaned him up with a brutal shirtfront.
