Cillian Bourke arrived at Essendon from County Offaly in Ireland, bringing a strong Gaelic football background with him. A highly regarded young Gaelic player, Bourke was named his county’s Best Under 20 Player before making the switch to Australian football. His athleticism, kicking ability and understanding of the Gaelic game have provided a strong foundation as he begins his AFL journey.
