Isaac Kako is a proud Australian of Iraqi heritage, with his parents migrating to Australia from Iraq in 1999. A lifelong Essendon supporter and product of the club’s NGA pathway, Kako has forged a strong connection with football and the community that helped shape him. His rise to the AFL has also allowed him to celebrate his heritage while becoming a role model for the next generation.
